Default 1982 G1 Carb Differences?

Does anyone know what the difference of a 82' carb, opposed to the other years? They both look identical from what I've seen. Have an extra carb that's 82' and would like to use it on my 85 if it's doable. Thanks!

I have one from an 82 and one from an 84. The vacuum lines are a bit different and the jets are bigger on the 84. I believe the 82 models were the ones that had lower compression and lower performance.

The front venturi (that goes into the rubber intake manifold) is also a smaller diameter then J10/J24 carbs. Like Slonomo said the jetting is differant for the 82 low compression engine set up.
