Default Carpet/Dash/Steering Wheel In!

Thought you guys might like to see my progress. Thanks also to all that offered advice..it is appreciated. I'm not anywhere near done with the G16 yet...but I'm makin' progress and havin' fun.

I did a dash I got on eBay, and a matching steering wheel. Painted the column gloss black and added some carpet. I had planned this type of carpet and saw another member here had done the same.

I added some extra chrome trim on the dash and added a headlight switch, hour meter, an extra switch that currently turns on the back-up lights. (They also work when placed into reverse.) I just wanted to have a switch wired in the dash so eventually the switch will do something else. The green light is on when the key is in the on position and the red is for the oil warning light.

Thanks guys! As requested...a couple more pics.

A close-up of the dash and an exterior. On the outside, I've only added lights. I plan to pull the body over the winter and get it painted.

Most excellent work Matt.

My next build will have that wood grain dash. Nice detail work on the switches..
