Just use a vise and a propane torch to heat the fittings until it melts the solder. Be sure the fitting and cable is clean, have the cable inside the fitting before you heat it and fill it with solder til it is full, allow them to cool, put the heat shrink tube over the fittings and heat it slightly until it shrinks tightly around the fitting and wire to form a tight seal.

Been reading a lot of your post; right now you are my hero... LOL

Reason being is I've got an 11 Excel cart and want just a little mo speed & torque from the cart which has 22" tires and speed code 4 as I'm presently getting 18 MPH...

Do you recall the end sizes needed for the cables 1/4", 5/16" etc? I'm not at home to look at the cart for another 3 weeks and I'd like to add some 4 gauge cables when I get home along with perhaps a new motor...

Thus far from reading it looks like there is only two motors out their for the Excel but I"m confused as I see the PQ Executioner used in a thread here.

Check out del city 25' is minimum orderbut can do two carts. Lugs and slugs too.

Does not sound like speed code 4. I have a 14 Excel cart with the only change being 21" tires and speed code 4. Mine runs 23 mph on the flat.

Speed before the tire upgrade was 19.7 mph (Standard wheels and tires).

I questioned the rebuilder (King of Carts) about this and they claim that they indeed upped the cart to IV for me... Speed was checked with two different GPS units too...

This I do not know much about... It is indeed an Excel cart with serial number PH1135- and to the best of my knowledge I paid an extra 100.00 to have SCIV installed...

If CC indeed sells their speed codes to the dealers etc shouldn't I be able to demand to see proof that it was purchased and/or installed in my cart; wouldn't it be "keyed" to my serial number?

It's also go regen braking from hell in that it usually manages to cut my speed to less than 18 MPH when going down hills; or least it sure seems too...

No biggie... I've got a lot learn when it comes to carts myself.... As a ship engineer generally speaking I can fix almost anything but not everything...

If you make your own cable use the copper cladded connectors with the closed ends.
