I bought the Executioner motor from mymonstertruck and will be installing it next week; I'm told to expect 30 to 32 MPH with the motor alone....

I went the cheapo route and bought the speed code 5 thingy. On a slight downhill before I was at 16 mph, same hill I am now at 26 mph.

I would want to see the results also. I think you have to upgrade, cables controller solenoid etc also to get that speed.

I could do 35mph with no rear seat driving alone. but yes I have upgraded cables solenoid and controller. But the controller gives you torque not much speed at all maybe 2mph at best. After a rear flip seat and a buddy riding with me we would 32mph.

Oh no problem at all; I sure will...

I'll also be building a set of 2 gauge cables for the cart when I get home from ship late next week. And plan on upgrading the relay and controller fairly soon too.

Also have to check into the batteries ASAP as the wife is reporting less than stellar at rest voltage 49.2 and poor performance. While the cart is new to us they are likely least 3 years old and if I don't like what I see I'll go pick up a set of Crown batteries in the Knox....

If all I saw was 25 and a little mo torque I'd be happy with that...

Yes after 25 you will start getting squirrely. Torque is on the other hand never enough. LOL

Hence the over sized cables and then a controller after my wallet recovers from the blow of cart, motor and perhaps batteries. It's an HOA cart mainly used to go to the clubhouse and marina but in our "hood" H stands for hills; we have miles and miles of paved hills.... We like to grab a couple beverage of choice and go ride around looking at the $$$ houses and harass the geese out of the dang roads...
