How much rougher will my stock DS ride with 10" wheels?

My 48v 2004 CC DS has stock suspension and stock 8" wheels/tires, I'm considering installing 10" wheels with street tread tires but I have a lot of lower back pain and I'm hesitant to make a change that will make the cart ride substantially rougher. How much of a difference in ride quality can I expect, a lot or a little? The cart is used primarily on relatively smooth asphalt.

I'd say it will be about the same. Let some air out of the tires for a smoother ride. Watch out for the pot holes and railroad tracks.

The wheels don't really affect things,unless the tire size stays the same as stock,such as switching to a 205 series tire,then the sidewalls are shorter and stiffer.Street tires are also quite stiff,so this adds to it.Like mentioned,adjust air-pressure,and avoid road-hazards.

the larger side wall the better , some low profile will give you a rougher ride

Also, wider tires or higher ply rating give a rougher ride.

In most cases a wider tire will ride better,as long as its a softer tire,some like the x-trails are super stiff and ride bad with 2psi.I run 2-ply fronts and 4-ply rears,for my application it works awesome,and rides great.
