You said that the cart is 48 volts? the switch in your pic says 36 volts on it

controller didn't have a tag i had took it out looked all over it but does have the same leads in the same place as a stock one from a 95 to 03 wiring diagram and was wired when i got it nothing was taken off.

Rib yes i just saw that myself when i ran out to get the old one the cart is 48 volt. did the guy that built it land the wire one battery back for that switch hell i don't know lol but the new switch that the guy gave me he bought is 48 volt and yes i tested voltage and wired the batterys per wiring diagram they read 48 volts thats y i am here lol

kgsc i love u lol ok now i see some mistakes on my part that is what i needed but that is for a winch motor now frist the three leads i have them backwards i am running pos, then 2 neg that is wrong ill rewire for this cart the M wire from the controller is in the F1 location let me look now see if i can figure it out thats ill post when i think i got it lol you guys are the best cant wait to get a ticket on it hahahahahahahahashashsah

(F1 location?) if the motor is marked F1, that is not a series, it's a sepex

on that diagram where would you land the motor wires?
M from the controller was allready on switch,A1 allready comes from controller,S1,S2,A2,M, 4 leads 4 wires ummm we know where M goes how would you land the other 3 best gess before i gess lol

Easy now... It will be close to that diagram except the power feed will come from a controller. I mainly posted it for the solenoid wiring. Here is a club car series diagram. And I assumed series because of the contactor. May be sepex
