Ok this is what I ended up doing.... Those Anso Halogen bulbs is a marketing ploy... they're not 55 watt, they're 27 watt but 27x2 is nearly 55w so let's sell them as 12v 55w (for the pair). But they are Xenon and a better bulb than the ones in there now and they were like $14 so I went ahead and ordered them. http://www.anzousa.com/catalogsearch...809011&Search=

I also ordered these from ebay after countless hours of searching the net. These look promising and the lumens is not too low so we'll see.

I'll do a comparison and post some pictures.

80W Cree LEDS? Holy cow lol, You would of been fine with the 27 Watt crees. When you compare Lamps, use Lumens for the comparison, that is how bright the light will be to the eye. 80 watts Actual Lumen: 1380LM
Make sure your wire can handle 6.67 X 2 = 13.33 amps amps. which 16 gauge or better should be fine for the short distance of a cart.

Well aware, I have 4.5" round spots that are crees on my EZGO and they are 2700 lumens per light...

See this thread that I started... After running these you can see why I am bitchin' about the the CC lights.

Never noticed, I can assume the lamps do get hot but not the fixture, it has a lot of air space as compared to yours.

Default Anyone use this style of LED lights?

I have decided to turn this into a full blown test using a light meter and a laser temperature sensor. I will first test the Big round leds on my ezgo and build a base line just the sake of it, then on the CC all tests will be compared to the stock bulbs. I will measure the stock bulbs, the xenon bulbs and the led bulbs. Each bulb will have two 5 minute tests, one outside of the housing and one inside, I will measure lumens and heat during both tests and will post results as a comparison.
