lift kits
It is time to lift the g8. I am looking at the jakes lift and the 7'' double a-arm on EBAY. Does anyone have any experience with either? Not the long travel JAKES, not enough$ for that one.

I have a single A arm Jakes for 3 years and have had no problems with it.
In my opinion Jakes is the best out there. Very high quality. |

Do you actually use your cart as an offroad vehicle? I am finding some parts are made just for the look and not for aggressive use. I don't want to have to start replacing parts after a couple of rides, I am very hard on my carts.

If you're that hard on them, I wouldn't risk it and just get the Jakes. Gary has one, and you can put that puzzle together. Ron has one and he has said numerous times that he likes it. There are a lot of others out there and I have yet to see one fail.

Under lifted carts airextreme has the other kit I am considering. I just don't want a problem like i have with my e-z-go bu lift. I want to install and be done.

I have jumped my cart many times, blew out the stock front shocks. The
Jakes lift can take the abuse!!! No problem with it at all. Don't be fooled by how clean my cart looks, I run the crap out of it on the trails and in the mud. I just like to keep it clean!! |

Thanks Ron. It was an honest question about use. RCC has the JAKES lift for $255.00 and I will order that one based on what you guys say. I am just pissed BU's lift is causing me trouble, but I noticed the jakes has what appears to be the same setup for the E-Z-GO. I just want reliability, can't have it break far from camp and have to get it back.
