EZGO gas cart losing prime
Hell, I have a 1998 EZGO TXT and just put a new carb on it.The cart runs fine but after it sits a while it seems like I have to wait for the gas to retun to the carb before it gets going again. This was the same problem with the old carb and I figured a new one would eliminate my issue. Thanks!

Re: EZGO gas cart losing prime
Could be the fuel pump. It basically acts like a back flow preventer but if it is failing it will let fuel go back to the tank.

Re: EZGO gas cart losing prime
Vent in gas cap plugged.
Clogged fuel filter. Bad fuel pump. Those would be my 3 places to start. EDIT: Does your oil smell like gas? |
