Default 6 batts 160AH to 190AH run time

Ok, I know no 2 carts are the same and no 6 batteries are either BUT theoretically what kind of run time should I expect with these batteries in terms of mileage? My cart is a 2016 TXT48 sepex drive with Alltrax 500 and stock motor.

190AH batteries will give you about 18% more run time than 160AH batteries.

Without know how many AH your cart consumes per minute, any run time would be pure speculation.

I am gonna have to find someplace to let it stretch the legs a bit. My neighborhood has a very limited area to run. Seems as though most of you guys recommend 5 miles as a benchmark to calculate range. I might get 1 if I am lucky.

Drive it around the neighborhood half a dozen times.

Dumb question: If you can only drive the cart for a mile, why is run time of any significance?

Its only an issue at this location. I am trailering it to a few other places this year and just want to know what I am working with. Have some friends property, beach, campgrounds, local parades, grandparents hood, etc. where it more of an issue.

The 6x8V battery pack in a TXT-48 uses 170AH batteries, so I wouldn't go any lower than that unless I only made very short trips and the 160AH batteries cost a lot less than the 170AH batteries.

If the planned trips are longer than about 15 miles, or the cart has taller than stock (18") tires or other amp eating modifications, I'd go with the 190AH batteries.

For more range, go with the 204AH offering from Trojan or the 205 AH offering from US Battery, or for max range go with a 8x6V battery pack.

I put 190ah Crowns in it last week. It came with Trojan 160 AH 8v-DC batteries that were running at slightly above 80% SOC.

I did exactly what you just did. Can't quantify run time improvement yet, but one they were broke in, whoa, what a difference in performance! A LOT less voltage drop when climbing hills, towing and powering through heavy snow. Quite a bit more reaction from the "go" pedal on chilly mornings when the mercury is below 0 too.
