Default G5 Sun Classic Yamaha

Grand daughter purchased a G-5 golf cart to get around her college. She said it was working fine and then she heard a noise. She backed up alright, but now no forward movement. Switches move freely but cart only goes backwards. I would have loved to seen her drive back to her dorm backwards. Oh what fun I could have had and she calls me old and doing "ODD" things. Pay backs would have been great. But now, she asks for my help and how can i say no. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you may want to try switching the f1 and f2 around on the motor they the fwd/rev wires on the motors the smaller wires not the big thick wires

if it goes fwd and not in rev then it would be the fwd/rev switch
if not could be the motor

It's definitely a motor issue as I've tried that. People tell me its a waste of time investing more money in this antique. What's your opinion? Thanks

I would agree with them. You could look for something like a G-22 or G-16 and say happy b-day to your grand daughter she would like that alot i bet. LOL.

I'm going to send this oldie down the road. My grand daughter can use the exercise for the time being until I find something better for her. Thanks for you info.
