Yes it matters since the OBC counts energy units IN and OUT of the pack.

The most important thing is that You do not have another pack negative cable going around the OBC.

If the light is coming ON while driving the cart, the pack condition is not good.

IS the Alltrax monitor showing 100% throttle?

Ok, there's an issue there.

the oringinal cable going thru it was replaced with bolt, the new neg cable is in two parts on only one end of that bolt?????

I'll disconnect one and attach to other side of OBC, maybe the lite issue.

I have a set of New (2 month) old Ranger batts.

It's been like that and it charges ok, but needs to get fixed anyway.

I believe a variant of the plum quick bandit is produced for a SERIES cart. One of those website only shows what it shows issues.

I believe they reference the improvement of % based vs stated mph since mileage does vary.

We installed a bandit in my father in law's cart (97 DS SERIES 48v) and did get the +25% speed improvement listed on the website (15mph to 19mph) with NO other changes factory solenoid, curtis 300A controller, and decent 4AWG wires/battery pack at best.

I agree with Sergio, I would suspect a voltage/MCOR/controller issue exists before the motor swap and why you are seeing little improvement. Especially if the low voltage light is coming on.

That is a big problem, You are killing your batteries.

Go ahead and fix that problem (put one cable on each side of the OBC/bolt) then do a full charge.

Once the charge finishes, test the speed again.

Also, when looking at the Alltrax monitor, compare battery voltage with motor voltage to make sure you are at 100%.

ok, neg cable fixed, just ran 4 miles, no more yellow bat light.

Sent log files to Alltrax

the batteries are reading over 49 full throttle 46.7

See what they say at Alltrax.

Remember that a good pack should be closer to 51v when fully charged, make sure you do a full charge while waiting on Alltrax.

I am not a cc guy but does it matter the direction of those cables going through the obc?

Alltrax has the diag file, first impression is motor isn't putting out will call back Monday

Throttle % Battery Voltage Battery Current Motor Voltage Motor Current
100 ................46.9 ................35.3 .............46.9 .........35.3

although batt was a bit low, he said the motor current should be way higher but want to talk to someone else.

I'm charging the bank now, I may run another test with fulll charge
