1993/'95 Club Car
I had a '93 36v resistor cart which I converted/upgraded to like a '95 with new 6-6v Trojans, deleted resistors added a 500 amp controller, kept glider, 6.1hp Raptor motor, welding cable wires, etc. My question is where/what or how to properly add 2 more 6v batteries in the bag well to temporarily add more boosts/speed like a 48v. I want to keep it 36v just want the x-tra boost speed when needed, so how to properly wire the additional batteries. Hope I'm explaining it properly. Where do I connect too on my existing battery pack, should I have an additional solenoid, and an on/off switch. Thanks for your help.

TO START WITH I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CONVERSION. You could possibly have battery explosion or at the least major damage to controller, F&R control, and yes even damage your Raptor motor?

Thank you. To confirm, your saying I Shouldn't add 2 more 6v to gain more speed?

Not without upgrading to 48v. You will need an upgraded FNR and 48v solenoid. At least 4 ga. wires and a new battery charger.

Re: 1993/'95 Club Car
SAK00 I already have the 4g wires, with 36v solenoid. Wanted to charge the additional (2) 6v separately with a 12v charger. Didn't know if there was a way to add the extra 2-6v on their own solenoid to a switch of some sort, so when I need the extra speed simply hit the switch. If this is safely doable, needed to know where I make my connections.
