Default 1979 Club Car only has one speed---FAST

We have a 1979 Club Car. It goes into high speed with the slightest touch of the accellerator. Sometimes, you don't even have to touch the accellerator, it takes off just by putting it in gear. Any suggestions!

welcome, jack the rear up and find out how many soleniods and or activation micro switches are bad.........if 5 soleniods the one furthest left drivers side is good thats the master next to it is 1st speed than 2nd and so on to 4th speed......sounds like you only have high speed ( 4th ) working.......are you capable of testing things and checking them out?........................

New problem.......We got all 5 new solonoids, new f/r switch, new micro switches. It's a 1979 electric Club Car. All it does now is click when you press the pedal. Could it be something wrong with the motor?

if it was running before theres a chance its something you did......happens all the time so go over all your work and take your time and make certain you put every wire back where it belonged and mounted all soleniods and buss bar and resistor coils right......your motor should be fine...............
