2002 CC DS 36v Need Advice
2002 Club Car DS 36v need some advice on upgrades for this cart? I have to replace the bateries, but would like to lift it 6-10" with at least 23" tires. What is a good controller/motor combo for this? cables,etc....?
I have never modded a electric cart so any help would be great. thanks Triple R Customs |

Re: 2002 CC DS 36v Need Advice
Well it seems like I need batteries right off. cant get no more than 15 volts across the pack. Aug 06' so they are probably toast? Even tried to take a 12 volt charger to bring them up so charger would kick on but didn't work.

Installed new batteries and now charger blew fuse ? Tried another charger and blew the fuse in the cart? Anyone know what may be wrong. It runs great just need to get this charger problem figured out.

Re: 2002 CC DS 36v Need Advice
No history other than it was at another shop and they replaced the fuse?
Ok my question is it was replaced because it popped from previous owner I guess. Pics below may shed a little light? The wires in the last picture appear to be a hot on a ground? but thats the way another shop had it wired. My other charger had the 2 wires on the left top and bottom, and the ground strap by itself. |
