Here is a thread I did Jan 2009 on installing a PQ motor... Still going strong... That's the way to go

I've got 10" wheels/tires which are almost equal to the stock ride height so I doubt I would get anymore than 20 mph but still it would be a big upgrade over the level 3 speed that I have now. One thing I haven't asked, does battery life suffer drastically with the PQ upgrade?

Not true again my cart is low to the floor with low profile tires and rims so yes you can get 24-26 MPH

Another thing I just thought of. Has anyone had any success replacing the magnet with the "High-speed" ones off of ebay?
