Clicks but wont go

I have a 2008 EZ-GO RXV. At times, not all the time, when I put the key in F or R it wont budge. I can hear the solenoid clicking. Turning the key back off and on and it goes just fine. Sometimes have to do the key thing 2-3 times. Anyone have any ideas?

Has this problem been getting more frequent?The switch could be going bad.The contacts probably aren't touching correctly,and a few turns on/off cause it to make contact.Hope this helps.

Have you tried cleaning all the battery terminals by removing the cables and wire-brushing the post and replacing the cables?

The RXV is real sensitive to dirty terminals, especially the early ones with the ACD controller.
