What problem are you having? I can't say I've had any issues with mine save for it being a bit out of adjustment.

Re: IT'S weak Link in chain ?
I think its one of the more bullet proof throttles myself. Have ran the from 36 to 72 volts without any issues at all. Have Had far more trouble with other throttle types than I have an ITS. Lack of adjustment knowledge doesn't mean they are troublesome. I'm still running a factory ITS from a medalist. Don't forget, its an electronic device....and like any electronic device it has limitations and some are better than others

I more talking about broken micro switch and alignment issues through time
Just thought there was a better way out there to tell the controller to pass x amount of current instead of through a inductive device |

Re: IT'S weak Link in chain ?
You have options. You can redesign and re-engineer another throttle or fine tune the one you got. While you are in there put a ms in and close the box for another 10 years like Roady suggests, it's about bullet proof, just a lot of confusion about how to test a part that hardly ever fails.

Re: IT'S weak Link in chain ?
Well that's good enough for me , I guess I could change out the micro switch for a heavier duty , just seems like alot of people have issue with them , that's all , mine is not acting up at all , just thought if there was a way to beef it up , more reliable instead of inductive device , but if they do not fail hardly at all no sense fixing something that's not broke

Re: IT'S weak Link in chain ?
My 1998 ITS and original micro are still running strong. I did adjust them when I first got the buggy, but not out of necessity, but just 'cause. I did get a little more top end out of it, as my controller wasn't being told to go to 100%.

Re: IT'S weak Link in chain ?
The ITS is a pretty foolproof system! The only thing I've seen that messes it up is water. The coil of wire is sealed, but as we all know, that lasts only so long and then the corrosion gets in. This takes years, unlike the micro which won't deal with water long at all!
