Default Solonide

I have a 2001 ezgo. I was changing the batteries and now it will not move. I do not hear any sound coming from the solonide. The batteries are fully charged and the cart was running right before I took the old batteries out. I may have the wires crossed but not sure. Any help would be great thanks.

I would recheck your battery-wiring,sounds like you connected something wrong and lost the circuit.

If the F/R control is a lever by your right knee, it is a series drive.
If the F/R is a rocker switch on the dash, it's a PDS.

Ok thanks it is by my knee and I will double check my connections again. Would I hear the solonide click even if the batteries are not hooked up
right?

No, the battery pack powers the solenoid.
If you are hearing a click without the batteries connected, it is probably the pedal microswitch in the ITS box under the floorboard.

Here is a schematic of a series cart with the solenoid activation circuit highlighted.
