Bucket harness gray wire question??????
I am doing a light kit on an 08 precedent installed bucket harness and the gray wire you plug in, I have no gray wire from the factory harness. so what wire do you plug into? Does this have anything to do with rear lights? all lights work except rear light. Any help would be great, Thanks

Welcome to BGW!
I think the Precedents have a 9-pin connector for lights correct? Could you post some pics of what you have? |

Re: Bucket harness gray wire question??????
Some Precedents aren't wired for lights at all. In this case you have to get the light kit with a full harness.

Re: Bucket harness gray wire question??????
Gray wire feeds 48 volts to the relay that plugs up to the ultimate light kit ( includes brakes switch ). The relay feeds 12 volts to the floor area for the brake lights. Your kit will need to include the brakes stuff ( ultimate light kit ) to utilize this wire.
