DCS goes forward in reverse

Hey all,

I recently got a 1998 EZGO TXT with the dreaded DCS system. Before the winter's start it had no issues, but at the time of my spring maintenance the cart seems to have lost the reverse. It only goes forward. I've been trying the troubleshooting guide and it's pointing towards a faulty solenoid, but i wanted to check with someone who's handled an issue like this before.

I can try to answer any questions to diagnose it better

Please clarify - if it only moves forward you may have a bad reverse ms.

If it moves reverse in F or R you have a controller failure.

It only takes one time operating the OEM control on low voltage to damage the control. Like pulling it out of storage on low batteries .....
