Re: do i keep the oil injection or not
A lot of folks here are doing away with the oil injection system. Some more members will be on here shortly to give you advice on the types of oil and the mix ratio for your cart!

Re: do i keep the oil injection or not
in my opinion, you should always mix your gas and oil. just disconnect the pump and plug the resulting hole in the manifold. then tear out the tank and hoses to clean up the engine compartment. mix the fuel at 1/128. many carts (2 cycle) were ruined by a bad pump. it could be going out and you wouldn't even know it.

Re: do i keep the oil injection or not
Unhook the pump,Pre-Mix your fuel 128:1(1oz./gal) for normal use,1-1/2oz./gal if you have the govenor unhooked and you run hard. Also, make sure the oil says "Pre-Mix Use",Alot of Injection-Oils will not Pre-Mix and cause engine-failure.Hope this helps.

Re: do i keep the oil injection or not
I guess I'll be the odd man out... I'm keeping my injection for simplicity when traveling. We'll be taking this cart to various events and it will be much easier to not worry about premixing and bringing a gas can with us.
I've had various motorcycles with injection pumps and they were reliable enough... |

i took the pump off and tank. all you have to do when you go get gas they always have 2 stroke oil do it at the same time nothing to worry about.

Re: do i keep the oil injection or not
removing the injector is the best way to go for some reason these don't hold up as well as a dirt bike or personal watercraft injector do and man when they stop they stop no warning at all.

Mix your own. Unless you grab the wrong gas can, it should always be mixed for you in the tank.

Re: do i keep the oil injection or not
Can anyone point me to a video or step by step process on how to bypass the oil injector ? I had my cart stop for no reason the other day and I have no idea if the injector is working. Would rather premix it myself.
