Can a 48v regen 2 be programmed to go faster?
So far I have followed all of the great advice from this forum and members and my cart finally runs and charges great and for that I am grateful.
My cart tops out at about 13mph and I didn't know if there was anything I could do to bump it up a little without buying a new controller and or motor.. I have already bypassed the solenoid on the driver's side of t the cart, removed the external coil and unplugged the 3 pin speed sensor "I believe that's what you guys called it" i have also bypassed the OBC. If no changes can be made that's fine I'm just thankful to have a great running cart but i figured i would ask.. Thanks again in advance for any and all help. David |

No reprogramming that controller. Check to see if you are getting 100% throttle

Re: Can a 48v regen 2 be programmed to go faster?
I just went out and checked my v- glide. When I push the gas pedal it does make a complete swipe from top to bottom..
Any other ideas to get a little more pep out of the ole girl? |

That doesn't mean the controller is receiving WOT from the V-glide/MSP. Back probe Pin 7 (Yellow/Black wire) at the controller and it should be receiving 4.65v or more. If it is, it is nothing left except upgrading.....

Re: Can a 48v regen 2 be programmed to go faster?
Remember he has a Regen 2 model and the throttle works backwards.
You should have close to 3.5v at pedal UP, it needs to be more than 3.0v when the pedal microswitch closes or the controller generates an HPD error and it will not run. You should have 0v with the pedal all the way DOWN. If the Multi Step Potentiometer (VGlide) is touching the last pad, unless you have a bad wire connection, the throttle is at 0v when the pedal is down. |
