Kelly Controllers
Does anyone know if Kelly Controllers are new or rebuilt? I sent them an email and have not received a reply back if 4 days now. Tried giving them a call and could not understand the guy on the phone.
Thanks, Robert |

Re: Kelly Controllers
If you are that unpleased at this point, why consider purchasing their products?

Re: Kelly Controllers
Brand New controllers.
Kelly controllers are fairly new to the Golf Cart scene. The EV guys have been using them and I haven't heard any complaints. I haven't seen one on a cart yet but give me time, a kelly will be the next controller I buy simply because of price and options. Don't have a clue to your email....I just read a topic on an EV board and the were talking about the emails they were sending back and forth to kelly and the fast replies. You could email someone else such as Cloud EV and ask them. Maybe, just maybe your email got blocked and put in a spam folder. |

Re: Kelly Controllers
Has anyone here used a Kelly Controller yet? I'm thinking of trying one when I upgrade to 48v. If I don't get any info on them I'll just go with an Alltrax. I like the idea of saving $110 on a 400A. $110 buys alot of beer

Re: Kelly Controllers
Reading some spec sheets on Kelly's site I see there are peak, I min, 2 min and continuous output ratings. What are your thoughts on the needs of say a 48v conversion cart with 20" trailwolfs for torque and speed on sock 36v motor running off road, on hilly terrain? And what are you putting in your current conversion 48v project cart?

Re: Kelly Controllers
anyone know what their warranty is like? it always makes me nervous dealing with a new company with electronic parts cause you can have them tell you one thing but if the crap hits the fan you find yourself out in left field on your own.......................................
