Ive had 74 visits to this question/post and not a single answer. I guess I am not the lone ranger trying to find a flush mounted headlight kit that can be cut into a flat surface like the front of the G1 hood. Maybe I should have asked it differently. Does anyone know of a Flush mounted head light kit or headlights that can be mounted to a flush surface like the front of a G1. Dont like all the mounted ones on bumpers and on top of the cowl that i see posted in pics. Anyone with any thoughts?

I too have looked high and low for flush mounted headlights with no luck. I ended up with a cheapo set of fog lights from Walmart mounted off the bumper brackets so they sit slightly behind the front bumper.

If you're really good with fiberglass you could make yourself a set of headlight buckets in the front cowl, I didn't want to spend that much time on the ol' cart!

Yes I gree I dont want to spend that much time on the ol cart.. I just was hoping somewhere somehow there would be something that someone discovered somewhere that could be cut in. I even thought about just going to the Junkyard and looking at a zillion junk cars and tryimg to fing the pefect bezel that would work. Its not the light its the bucket or Bezel.

I don't know of anything that is going to fit right in, you will have to be creative!

I bet you could make a bezel out of 1/4" trim plastic and file the face of it it fit flush with the new light bezel. It would take some fabrication but it could work.
