Default G16 Wobbling maybe a solution... please look...

Okay, so I posted a while back about my G16 getting violent wobble at speed. I got to looking and noticed that the extension where the sway bar hooks up (lifted by previous owner) will allow the body to move side to side. The sway bar is loose because the mounting plate is loose.

Okay, so I figure that has GOT to contribute to the wobble and utter swervyness of my car. SO...

One, has anyone ever strutted the rear end of their G16?

If you do solid struts you can use 1in sq tube and works pretty good. Although it will ride rough you can run less air in the back tires.

My suggestion would be, if it doesn't have a Jake's lift on it, spend your money there. Instead of throwing more parts at a problem that already doesn't work.

I am quite sure it is not a Jakes... however money is tight at present, so I am going to try and sure up this kit before forking out extra cash. If that does not work, then I willl look into it. I do appreciate the response...

Biz, looks to just be extensions bolted to the shocks. Kinda like lift blocks if you will. Does not really look all that solid if you ask me. I bought some stainless steel bolts and nylon locking nuts. I am going to drill into the plate and use them to bolt the two plates together in a diamond pattern because the two bolts holding them together are in a straight line, up and down. I am going to see how that works out... might try to post some pics of the kit tonight.

Justice,I would drill no holes through the frame of the car. Do it right the first time.
