Default G29 charging, discharging, monitoring questions

2012 ydre. I installed a Curtis 48v battery gauge the other day. Showed full, went 2 miles, batteries died. Got home and put on charger. Charger ran for about 10 hours steady. Pack was DEAD apparently. After full charge, pack read 49.2 volts. Gauges said full. Drove a few miles, gauge went down 1 click. 48.8 volts. Drove a couple more miles, gauge went down 2 more clicks. 48.2 volts. Drove couple more miles. 2 more clicks down on gauge, 46.9 volts. Drove it 2 more miles home. Gauge was on 2nd to last spot. 46.2 volts. Hooked to my charger, it says power on, flashes all the lights briefly, illuminates green for 'charged'. Clicks off. Pack still at about 46 volts. Gauge says full. Batteries are new per dealer I bought cart from. 6 8v USA battery vgc8. HELP.

Those final voltages are very low! Look at the State of Charge Charts for 48V. Do not run them that low often or they will not last long. I would check on the state of those batteries because they don't sound too good.

DPI Accusense

Another thing.... 51.3 is full charge for you batteries, not 49.2. 49.2 is just above 60%, and almost dead. Do you have a digital voltmeter mounted on the cart, or just that junk bar gauge? If not, you need one asap. Below is some reading about state of charge for your batteries.

How long have you had this cart?

Re-use you existing plug, or buy another to be used on the new charger.
