Engine will not stop running
Hello all, I have a question that I know has to have been ask before. I have used the search function but haven't found an answer to my question so I will post a new thread.
I have a 1992 CC with a FE290 engine and the engine will not stop running when I lift from the GO pedal. I have checked the ignition switch, solenoid, and the micro switches in the black box, but they all check good. Looking at the wiring diagram it shows the wire from the Accelerator Kill Limit Switch going to the Engine Kill Hookup. My question is where is the Kill Hookup and how does it operate? Thanks to any and all replies |

Re: Engine will not stop running
The kill hookup is by the front of the engine. if you look down at the plate that the engine sits on, right in front there should be a small back wire. Check that connection. The ignition cuts off by grounding out, so you must have a bad connection somewhere.
