Geez I think I understand this
but it does require a 4 pole solenoid ?
Yes it does require a 4 terminal solenoid - like every other Club Car.

Okay what I have been failing to understand this entire time is how the starter generator worked. I never understood that it was the RPM's that changed the function from starter to generator, prior to understanding that I always somehow thought that it was a bad idea to have constant power to the starter side like something would happen, I have since learned there is no separation between starter and generator, what changes the function is RPM's. What I also found out that a 3 pole solenoid or a 4 pole solenoid will work. I know have a 4pole that I will hold on to just in case. I am now an EXPERT from start to finish in taking a pedal start club car to a full on functioning key start maybe not for the purest but for simplicity and minimal troubleshooting basically 3 wires not including accessories (lights/radio etc.. If the solenoid had 4 poles it would be easier and one day I might put it in
