Is Throttle Cable Without Black Box Possible?

I am installing a kolher M18 twin flathead in a cart that was given to me. I know its possible to set up a throttle cable system without the black box. Has anyone done this and have any help, pics, advice to help me along. This is a 2002 carryall 2. I am pretty much not using anything stock have a key switch installed for starting and killing. Motor has own starter and a sufficient charging system. Pretty simple to me. fit motor in and wire up. will also be raising body some with axle under spring move and water jet cut z list brackets for front. Any Help on throttle hook up will be greatly appreciated.
