Default Is there a video on adjusting the governor on a TXT

Cant seem to get mine right, or maybe its something else
I can lift the rear end off the ground and start it and it tops out fine,Both clutches seem to work right , Put it down and put it under a load and the engine stalls down and wont pull even a slight rise. Top speed on the flat is maybe 10
What am I doing wrong?

Have you ever adjusted the valves?

Agree with StoveBolt that valve adjustment is a good place to start. Those Robin 2 cylinders are kind of famous for valve lash issues. If that checks out, or doesn't fix it, there could also be a carburetion issue.
If it "tops out" spinning the back tires off the ground it's not a governor issue. Same governor spinning the same speed no matter if the tires are on the ground or not. So if the governor lets it rev off the ground it's not what's holding you back.

Adjusted valve, new belt new Carb , with out pulling the Clurch is there a way to check the timing belt?
Like i said I put the rear en up with my tractor and the engine and both clutches appear to be working correctly. On the ground under a load, Poor performance with small amount of back fire .Could something be wrong inside the clutches?

Backfire suggests a lean fuel mix. Carb issues (I know it's new, but still happens) or vacuum leak. Check spraying carb spray around carb & mounting gaskets to see if it affects anything.

I can check that, other than base of carb where would be a leak? I put a low pressure electric fuel pump on and plugged off the vacuum hose to crank case.
After 1st adjustment of governor, new carb and plugs , it seemed to run semi ok Not great,
Adjusted governor again and got it a bit more tight and it barely moves up any kind of incline

Saw where some here said something internal on the real clutch or even rear end.
Im lost. this is not like Building a Chevy engine LOL

Edit: ...Sorry after reading again see you were talking about the vacuum line to the fuel pump.

So just let the Vacuum pull air? Yes compression is around 150 both cylinders
Key off and checking cables and Carb all appear to be working correctly. Its a small back fire and not very often just when the Cart wont pull on an incline

Sorry didn't realize you were talking about the line going to the fuel pump. If the throttle
is opening all the way I don't see how your trouble could be the governor.
