1993 EzGo revving up and down
This is a new issue , I corrected Friday's post/issue. The engine seems to rev up and down but will not as fast as before previous issue (carb stud stripped out causing air to leak in and not run w/out choke replaced Carb tonight) cart has new :
Plugs Carb Fuel pump Fuel lines Coil and wires Fuel filter air filter Compression was good when checked a month or more ago TIA for any suggestions I have a video can't figure out how to load Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

More when half throttle, not sure I should have said revving or maybe described as "pulsating". The engine does rev up more than where pedal is pushed. Wish I could load video

Today I replaced and adjusted gap in spark plugs just eliminate, that didn't help. I then adjusted the choke needle so the needle would stay in the position that surging didn't happen and runs fine, exhaust is a little rich. So question is should a new carb / choke needle start all the way down and by raising and setting cable just a temp fix?

I don't know what a choke needle is but if you are saying you adjusted the coke cable so
the choke is partially on, I'd say you are starving for gas or still sucking air somewhere. |
