Shimmimg the spring sounds like a plan, couple questions though, do you place the shim on top or bottom, or one on each side of spring? Would washers work as well ?

If your putting on secondary clutch I put it on the inside away from the "ramps" washers would work if you have large ones I like pvc Because you can use one piece to achieve desired rate instead of multiple pieces

thanks for the information, I will definitely give the spacer thing a try on the springs, in theory it should work plus save me a few bucks as well. have you ever tried using washers as the spacers/shims ? going to disassemble the drive and driven clutches apart this weekend, I will keep you posted.
