2012 Yamaha not charging after new batteries
I have a friend who replaced batteries in his cart with new t-875's. we have 49.8 volts at the battery posts as it should be. The solenoid clicks on the tow/run. When you plug in the DPI charger nothing happens. No charger lights not even power light on charger with several known good 110 outlets tried. Thought it was a charger problem. Got new DPI charger and same issue. Both chargers are set to mode 2 which is correct mode.
Any ideas?? |

Charging leads not connected to battery pack? Try putting meter probes directly in the charge port.

I had the same problem with my new batteries. Took it back to the dealer and he cleaned the charger port contacts and charger cable plug contacts and it's worked fine ever since.

Thanks guys he discovered that the ground wire did not get connected to the battery from the charge port.
All good now |
