Default Marathon Muffler Mount

My buddy bought a 94 Marathin with a 295 Robin engine. When he got it the muffler flange to the manifold was leaking. We replaced the gasket and tightened it up but we didn't see where the lower muffler bracket attaches to anything. On my 96 TXT it bolts to the alum motor mount.

Does anyone have info or a pic to show us what might be missing? We can fab something if we have to but would like a little guidance if we do. I can't find any pics on the web to help.

So nobody knows how to attach a Marathon 4 cycle muffler lower bracket to the engine mount?

On the drivers side opposite of the engine where the muffler sits you should see a 90 degree metal bracket the top hole on the muffler bracket bolts to this. Hope this helps

Thanks. I am pretty sure that whatever the muffler is supposed to bolt to is missing. Now I can try to duplicate the original. If the bracket is broken off I should be able to spot where it was. Just didn't see any point in crawling around all over guessing until someone gave me a hint.

Appreciate the advice.
