Jakes Power Spring Question
Whats up guys I just purchased a 2010 drive gas cart. Had the light kit put on and 12" rims but other then that its stock. The was purchased to push my race car around at the track. I plan on adding a rear seat soon. It ran 13mph stock and 19mph when I turned the governor back. I bought the speed spring and am waiting for it to come in. I also bought the yellow power clutch spring from jakes. I noticed when I pulled the access panel off to turn up the governor the spring that is in the cart now is yellow. From all the videos and pictures that I have seen the stock spring has been purple. I would think this cart would be stock as it was a fleet cart from a golf course. Are the stock springs always purple? not going to have a chance to pull it down for a couple days so was just wondering. Thanks

Re: Jakes Power Spring Question
Stock spring in team clutch was always purple for standard 2 seat carts.

Re: Jakes Power Spring Question
Just strange that it has an aftermarket spring. Bought it from a guy who has a golf course and golf shop. He made it sound like it was all stock and even mentioned to me that I might want to change to clutch spring for more torque pushing the car. Guess I will just send the other one back. Havent had the chance to run it up a hill or do any pushing with it yet to see how it would do.
