Default Oil filter removal

Hi, I am having trouble removing oil filter from a 2012 Ezgo terrain 250, I have tried every oil filter wrench available! Any suggestions??

This type seems to work. Lots of tools stores or small engine/lawn mower shops would have them. Because it can squeeze the filter I find it works better than many of the single size cap wrenches.

I have drove a big screwdriver all the way through, one long enough for good leverage

Have you tried a Vice Grip Locking Chain Clamp?

I don't use it very often, but it is a great tool to have in your toolbox when you need it. It will crush the filter but as long as you have enough room to swing the tool, it will get the filter off.

I have used it in a few other applications too, but mainly for gnarly oil filters and on my frame mounted F350 diesel filter housing (plastic).

Once the can is destroyed, you may end up using a hammer, and chisel to remove the base.
Lefty loosey, righty tighty.
