Default Sputtering Cart

02 ezgo txt, Cart will take off and run fine for a few seconds but when I push the pedal down it starts sputtering and loses all power. I can mess with the choke, pull it out, push it back in and then it will regain power for a second and then go back to sputtering....

If you're pulling the choke to get it to go you're running of fuel. I'd check the fuel system, the filter, the pump to make sure you're getting gas to the carb.

Set valve lash to .004" and clean carb.. pull all the Jets out make sure they are clear and use compressed air to blow through all the passages in the carb

The air intake vacuum line keeps popping off would this cause the fuel line to not get fuel?

Absolutely. It has to have a vacuum from the engine to pump.

I was just going to say can you feel it pulsate when you put your finger over the line and turn the engine over? If that vacuum line has a hole in it or isn't staying connected to the pump it won't work.

The vacuum line from the air filter to the motor, I should’ve specified
