Starter belt slipping
Hey. My 2004 club car ds has a slipping starter belt. I have replaced it with a new one and it is still slipping.
The tension is good, is there anything I can do to make it grab. It is slipping from the starter at the top, it seems to bind well on the engine side Could it be the starter has the wrong pulley on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Starter belt slipping
So what is the correct belt and where to purchase it? I’m having the exact same problem and I was getting ready to change out the sheave on the Starter/Generator.

Re: Starter belt slipping
Mine starts fine with a belt bought at autozone, just matched it up for length
FHP belts may not work |

Re: Starter belt slipping
I went to a local belt place and measured up for size and depth, I’m in the uk and golf cart spares are ridiculously expensive

It can be matched up, but personally I have the best service life from OE club car belts. Aftermarket belts don't seem to last long for me. |
