Intro 1982 ezgo Gas - 3 wheel
Hello, just acquired an 1982 ezgo gas powered cart and have gotten it running. Looking mainly for electrical parts that I can get to make it street legal

I would check my local laws first, they may vary not only from state to state, but also by municipality/city. Then do a search for “golf cart street legal kits”

Great advice above;
I live in two different cities, One is a small town that allows golf carts in town and they don't have to have lights or anything towards being street legal. (Although I did put headlights and tail lights on mine)... The other city is bigger and it doesn't matter what you do to make it street legal they simply are not allowed.... Both of my places are in the same state, I once inquired about it at the local DMV in the bigger city. They said there is no way to register and/or get a license plate for it....Good Luck |

Yeah total grey area. In my town in order to be street legal you need an orange flag and a slow moving vehicle sign ( orange reflective triangle).
