Pardon the mess. Parts of ezgo filling the bench

Compression is too low to run. But carb was cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner today and I rigged a pre-MCI coil for bench purposes. Spark seems good. But one cylinder is 60psi and the other is 70psi.

At least I have a good rebuildable engine here. Turns over great, no funny noises. I'm just touching what would normally be the wire from the key switch to activate the solenoid. Power goes from bat to pedal switch to key switch to solenoid (+) so basically everything that would be in a cart, is except the 2 switches.

If you haven't already, check the valve adjustment. Too lose and that will account for low compression. Those intake valves are famous for wearing up into the heads over time.

That was the first thing I did. Intake valves are fine. :)

Dropped some oil in the spark plug hole and jumped from 60 to 100. Itll need to be rebuilt
