Default G16a driven clutch

I’m working on the driven clutch what’s the best way to compress and hold the clutch during reassembly? Does anyone have the golf cart king fixing tool, if so how does it work ? Thanks for any and all feedback!

It's possible to run a ratchet strap around the case & the sliding sheave to hold the spring.

If it's a stock spring I just hold it by hand. If it won's stay or it's a bigger spring I use a ratchet strap. I've seen the tool, but I don't have one. Looks like it would work.

Thanks guys for your replays! It is a heavy duty red spring. I will give the ratchet a shot.

Let us know how much top end you lose with that spring.

I have a rear seat on it so I'm not worried about top end.
