muffler question
maybe this is a dumb question but i need some help. I have a 1988 2 stroke and i took the head pipe a loose and put new gaskets on it. while i had it off i noticed that the muffler had a few holes in the bottom of it so i put some jb weld on them. Now the cart will barely run. was i not supposed to cover them up? Please help

The muffler was probably clogged up and someone put some holes in it to get it to run. You could burn it out, should be ok then. run a search on muffler for this section and you'll find lots of threads about bbq-ing the muffler.
