Got it back on Friday. Hit the road for a test drive and the difference is night & day. Quicker on take off, and more power with 4 people on cart.
Still has single exhaust and sounds just as quiet. Listed are some rpms & speeds(by the way....top rpm is 3600).
2800rpms=22mph
3000 " =24mph
3200 " =26mph
3400 " =28mph
3600 " =30mph
These are values from a handheld GPS. Will keep you posted as I am still tinkering with it.

With 295cc engine and stock rear end it would run 18.9mph at 3400rpms.
I played with the govenor and got 3900rpms and a speed of 21-23mph. With four people(wt. 650lbs) it would top out about 17mph.
Four people and new setup, it runs 24-25mph and has pep to go with it.

First of all, not much unless you forgot to mention installing 8:1 gears. Every thing stated after new engine install was taken using high speed gears. Forgot to mention the HS gear change.

Since the gear ratios were changed, we still don't know what to expect from the motor modification.
Do you have any other info on the actual building of the motor?? Or do we just know it goes faster.....?
