little arm on top of the axle
can someone explain to me what the arm on top of the axle does? if anything i installed a 16hp vanguard and i have it just sitting there dont know if i should do something with it

Loosen the jam bolt on the side and pull it off...

Should be a small square headed lock bolt. Loosen and remove
