FE290 output shaft specs

Anybody know specs on the output shaft for the FE290? I thought I had read that it was a tapered shaft on a post in this forum. Spent some time searching but couldn't find any details. Need to know diameter and length too. Thanks.

C'mon fellas, you gonna make me take the thing off and measure it? If I wanted to buy a replacement engine (11HP) and use the stock drive clutch the output shaft would have to be ???

Any help is appreciated.

im with ya kimmer... i am trying to figure this out as well... did you figure it out? im thinking of doing a swap to and i dont know the shaft size!!!! someone!?

yes it is a tapered shaft. no key!

The info isn't in the CC/Kawasaki manual but is cart standard 30mm 1:10 taper (courtesy of BigBlockMan aka Tom @CPP (sponsors rock!

ok thanks guys. i pulled the bolt out of the end of my shaft on my 290 and there is a key in there... now i didnt pull the clutch off so i dont know if its one of those half round keys just at the end or what. but thanks for the info!!!
