installing headlights
What is the best tool to use to cut the cowl for headlights?

After I trace it out I use a 1/2inch drill bit and drill out the corners and then I use an electric jig saw to cut out the lights.I usually use a plywood blade as they seem to last and cut good.

Either way, be sure to put down some masking tape before cutting or risk trashing your paint with either the jig saw or roto-zip.

Dremel tool did the job for me with plenty of masking tape.
Be careful though that plastic get hot and will burn you. |

I used a roto-zip with a drywall bit on my 95 ds and it cut like butter.
