Default help with lifted cart

i have a lifted clubcar and when i got it i checked the oil and it was barely touching the stick so i added til it got to the full mark. well now there is oil all over the engine and everywhere under the seat and the oil is back at the very bottom tip of the stick.

i have since heard something about once one is lifted that the dipstick don't read right and it is possible that it blowed the extra oil out of the motor. does this make any sense and if so how do i keep a check on my oil?

i have seen on here that alot of people mark the dipstick after its lifted, so that they can tell if it is full since you are changing the angle of the engine!! I have also seen people make a longer dipstick!!!1(LOCKMAN)

as far as the oil everywhere no idea, I have seen it one time that was due to the other dipstick hole(for different applicatiions) losing its plug!! on the backside od the motor there is like a grey or black cap that is what i am talking about!! if not that then no idea, just hope you dident blow it up by putting to much oil into the cart

sounds like you have too much oil for sure! drain it, poor in the correct amount of oil and then mark the dipstick to reflect you new "full" level.

The oil is probably coming out of the air box or the crank case breather, and yes re-drain it and add 38oz with the filter, let it sit for a while, then pull the dip stick and scribe your new full Level.
