Default driven clutch helix hitting transaxle

finally got my honda running on the 88 cc noticed the driven clutch hitting transaxle housing. had the clutch machined to accept a 1-3/16 belt and spring upgade from tom. can i put a spacer behind this or will it mess up the seal. has anyone run into this yet

I think you can put a washer back there. I have have done it before on a CC ....

I had the same problem with a 95 I put a clone motor in .... a washer fixed it.

You could wait and see what somebody else might say ~
