Trim part source
Well, I have all the trim removed on my rebuild. Now I need some ideas where to get the big head aluminum rivits and those black trim fasteners.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Perhaps the proper name and size? Thanks, |

Re: Trim part source
I bought the black plastic trim fasteners off the shelf at our local True Value Hardware at like $0.33 each, they stock both lengths you'll need to do the dash and the trim plastic - the big head rivets I cheated with and bought stainless machine screws with trim rings (all the ones I had to replace were accessible from the back)

Re: Trim part source
Check Lowes',They have a huge selection of different fasteners.I bought a bunch of the plastic push-pins last summer for my cart and quads. They have the auto-maker style pins,rivets,screws,etc..Our Lowes is about 2yrs old and they have a whole aisle of drawers of that type of stuff.

Re: Trim part source
good call, Pachanga (probably a lot more "Nation-Wide" source than True Value) - and if you DO have a TV by you, the fasteners are also in those frustrating little drawers :)

Re: Trim part source
Most any auto body supply house will have what you need. I bought the Christmas Tree fasteners, the ones that hold in the rear splash shields etc... for $8.50/100 pack.

Re: Trim part source
I know it sounds silly but how about an EZ-Go dealer ?? They got hundreds of exactly what you need. May cost a little more but good PR.
